Pondering on Essay 3

My first two papers were focused on technology in the medical field. For this paper, I want to keep my focus in the medical genre, but I want to focus more on the social issues that are causing diseases to spread more quickly than in past times. I am not sure which disease I want to focus on. Maybe I will write on a disease such as MRSA or VRE that is spread by contact. I haven't quite decided on the specifics. As far as a back-up plan goes I was thinking along the lines of xenotransplantation. It is an interesting topic that I have yet to really pick a side on. I'm riding the fence on my opinion as far as having animal parts inside of me. Even if it meant life or death I don't know if I would be able to accept an animal part in exchange for one of my human parts. Honestly would you want that? I'm debating right now. Any opinions?

Well the essay has to be like 4-6 pages, so why dont you elaborate on all your subjects, the more you have to write about the longer the essay will be. Good Luck

Xenotransplantation would be an interesting topic to read about. I'd like to read your opinion on the subject. I'm sure that in the future this will be a much debated issue.

Good luck.

I would definitely be interested in reading your essay. I think you should keep your essay open so that you can expand on more than just one topic though. That way you won't run out of things to say at like 3 pages or something.

I am fascinated by the issue of xenotransplantation. Like you I wonder how it would feel to know that there are animal parts keeping you alive. In a matter of life or death though I guess it wouldn't matter much. There is a whole host of arguments against though just in the relious context alone. Translants alone would be a large topic, the issue of body parts for sale and organ donation would add to the idea.
