Technology- Is it Beneficial or Detrimental

Well I think technology is both beneficial and detrimental. I think that it's great that we have cell phones, cars, computers, appliances etc... It's good to have a cell phone if we're in trouble or have a flat tire or even in the worst case if someone needs to call 911 when on the road. If we didn't have computers I don't know where the world would be. Everything is done by computers theses days. Cars, well I don't even have to say why those are beneficial. With all that said let's look at how theses things are detrimental. Take cell phones, how many accidents have been caused by people talking on their cell phones while driving and forgot about the road. I mean people have been killed and some of them were someone else not even in the car of the person on the cell phone. Computers are great but when they go down everything goes with it. Cars are a necessity but when they break down, it breaks you're pocket too. Appliances are great, but again when they break so does your pocket. I think there is a disadvantage to every advantage in most things. Also as harse as it sounds, I think with all the technology we are fourtinate to have today has some how made us as a people very lazy and dependable on things instead of ourselves.

This very well writen and has many ideas so far. I think it will turn out to be a very great paper, because it explains in detail of just some of the things that could be good or bad about technology. It lists the ideas that is most likely going to be used in the whole paper.

The ideas you listed about technology are very easy to relate with. You will have no problems coming up with things to write about for this essay.

I agree with you that you are fourtinate to have today in some countries around the world but also made people dependable and if these appliances will not work we become frustrade.
In some third world countries people don't have the money to by dry machines neither dishwashes, also they consume a lot of energy and their electric bills wil be higher.

I agree with you completely (spelling.?) All of these technological advances are great - but i'm starting to believe the negative effects are starting to out-weigh the positive. If we have our Research paper saved on our PC at the house and it crashes tuesday night - we're so screwed.! You know the teachers aren't tryin to hear that stuff. "Well why didn't you make a back up.?" - Well how often does my computer crash.?!
America makes me so sad. :( As a result of all this technology we're getting So.Damn.Lazy. Seroiusly. Like i said in my original post - what kid wants to go play in the sun when they can relax in their Central Cooled house, talk on aim, and check their myspace while listening to stolen music.?? We can check our email on our cell phones now, too... Why make that 47foot walk to the computer when you can just roll over, grab your cell phone and let your thumb go to work.?
America is like the most hated country in the world. Can you blame everyone.? We're all turning into fat, lazy slobs. What happened to a long hard days work in the crop field.? "Outside.? It's 90degrees out there. Are you crazy.?"
It sure seems like it. :(
I Don't know but i really feel like we're slowly losing control of technology. I mean i remember about a year ago when Cell phone companies were advertising the weight of their cell phone. Trying to make theirs .7 Ounces lighter and just a liiiiiittle bit smaller than their competitors.
Are you fucking serious.? Is your arm really going to get tired fast over .7 OUNCES.??
If anyone says yes - you sicken me. Just put the damn thing on speaker phone and steal some more music.
Ok, I'm done ranting and raving. Thank you.
