Shae's Idea
There is a question about technology whether it is beneficial or detrimental? I can agree to say that I am more for the issue rather than against it . In most cases I feel that having technology is convenient and speeds up the process and make it for everyday living. For example: computers are one of the most efficient tools used today. I am able to communicate to the outside world now through computers. Because of computers, I was able to find a cousin that I raised from birth until the age of six years old when her birth mother came and took her away. She went online to search for me and we were re-united three months ago, she is now twenty years old. In the same aspect the downsides of using a computer is that it makes you more susceptible to identity theft. Also if a computer crashes you could also loose a lot of important data. Cell phones were another good invention. For instance having a cell phone in the event of having a very important emergency like a burglary, a car accident and also if your child was sick and needed assistance. A downfall of this would have to be, that you cannot use it while driving because your more likely to get in an accident. Another good technology resource could be a GPS or navigational system, it is very much so a good source because there are many people that travel and having that at hand could be very suffient.

I think it's totally awesome you found family online. I have too and it's an awesome feeling!! You have really good ideas
i have mixed feelings about your post, shae. I have a sister out there somewhere so i can see where the internet would be helpful. However, i totally hate those Dating sites, and chat rooms. I have an older neice and she's used chat rooms since we got our first computer. She is so pretty but just refuses to go out with me (Not like that. Ha) because she'd rather "chat"....... it's so ghey.
I must agree with you about cell phones, though. They are super handy now days when you get in a little fender bender. Like jessica just said, they can also be helpful in finding lost people, or even building a case for murder. I remember a particular Forensic Files (court tv) where the prosecutor had this one kid's cell phone log and was able to show the jury a map of the county. The kid claimed he was in another county almost 50 miles away that night, but the Map showed Differently. The map was of all the cell towers in their county, and the counties surrounding it. Every time you make a call on your cell phone it hits a cell tower (you probably already knew that) ANYWAY - so yeah... being able to prove he was in the county on top of some of his shirt fibers he was found guilty.
Wow. i totally went off topic...
way cool that u found ur cousin. and yea cell phones are flippin awesome. of course you shouldn't use it while driving though. yea identity theft sucks. sorry i'm not good at these comments.
