I am going to write about the causes and effects of abuse, drinking, and smoking. I will use the short story "The House on Maple Street" for abuse, and I will touch on "Quitters Inc." for smoking. I will be using outside research for my the rest of my topics. I will probably also touch on how the possible effect on depending on technology. If I do, then i will use the story "Trucks" to help support that.
My main focus will be on the malnutrition of obese children. I will write about why they are obese, and what caused them to become so overweight, such as lack of excersise, and fast food. I will also write about the health risks at which these children are facing and a few of the options they have to help themselves.

this is a good topic, you should be able to find lots of research to back up your points.
thats alot of different topics. all great ideas. with all the ideas you have you should have no problems finding research.
