Should you be obligated to change the future just because you happen to have the power to. Is it your job... i think that if you are the only one that can stop it then there is.... Because in this book John Smith has a vision and sees that a man named greg stilson is going to like end the world. So john is trying to stop it....but many say that he should have to just because he knows this is going to happen. But i say yes he does...he is the only one who knows about this so yes he should feel some amount of obligation.Greg stilson is also running mayor which gives him even more power.
