Extensive ideas on technology for essay 2

In my next essay about technology I'm going to go more into detail about an important piece of equipment used in medical technology that is called life support. Life support is a machine that is used to keep people alive and breathing for them.If that person gets to the point where they need life support without it there not able to breath on there own. Most people that need to be on life support dont recover from it the doctor will give his medical advice and the relative will have to make the decision to keep them on life support or take them off which will mean the passing of there loved one.Life support is very costly and can be extremely stressful for the family of the patient that is on life support.It is stressful in many ways for the simple fact the family doesnt know what the outcome will be on there loved one.Life support is extremely important part of medical technology and without it could be crucial. There are patients that come off of life support and recover but without life support it could be real crucial for patients decreasing chances for survival.In this next essay I just want to talk about the facts and research more about life support and how it has increased our survival rate but how costly it can be and if the patient has any problems from surviving from it. I want too research benefits and detriments of life support and include the info in my essay. I just basically want too talk about all around how medical technology has came along way and life support is a prime example of it.

Essay 2

I think that for my essay two, I am going to keep my first essay and just expand on it. I like the points I had in my first essay, and I think that adding some research would help enhance my essay and strengthen my viewpoints. I had a single personal experience in my first essay, so I will expand on that experience. I will also add statistics to back up my points and capture the reader’s attention. I have found many good examples of technology detriments in Stephen King’s short stories, both the ones we have been reading and the one’s I have read on my own. I am only going to have three main points in my new essay. I think I will use; how dependent we are, the physical dangers of technology, and the problem of identity theft. All three of these points will relate back to my overall topic of how technology is detrimental to our society. I am sure that I want to use cell phones in the first point, because almost everyone has a cell phone now. As we were talking about in class, I will also mention transportation as a detriment to society. I think for my second point I may use some type of technology from an everyday business that can cause injury, but is unheard of. If I cannot find anything, construction jobs are always dangerous. For my third topic, I will use something like online banking, since so many people use that. Those are basically my ideas for essay two.

For the second essay I plan on starting from scratch. I noticed I wasn't really focused in the first essay so hopefully that's something I can fix. Like most people I'll be using the same thesis; mine is pro technology. I would highly recommend this since everything is technology. Without tech we wouldn't even have a bow and arrows; or even cloths. So, duh technology is a good thing. So I think most of my essay is going to be supporting that statement and pointing out we would be utterly lost without any technology.I'm still not sure what my main topics are going to be so if you have any suggestions, by all means let me know. This time around I'm mainly just going to be focusing on staying focused if that makes any sense.

Chelsea's Post.

As I'm seeing everyone's post on here, you see a positive side of technology. How we don't even need to be in class to talk to each other, to explain our feelings and more. It's pretty amazing if you ask me. That is why this time I am going to try and write a new essay, over the positivity of technology advancements. It's going to be challenging, since the past two weeks I have been looking at the negative side, but I like a challenge. I want to show the views of cell phones, Internet, and eBooks. I want to include a brief history over the cell phone evolution, how the Internet came to be, and how the newest eBooks work and what is the best brand to buy. I really want to include the eBooks, just because they are changing the ways of reading, the literature competion, and publishing. If anyone knows good websites and sources on the database, keep me updated!

Essay 2 Ideas

Im am going to expand my essay by talking about how the military can be a part of the negitive effects of technology. This time around I am going to use examples from Stephen King's books. This paper will be different, I am going to try to find even more ideas to add to my paper and I feel I wont talk too much more about what I already covered. Also if I do I will back it up with differnt examples. I already noticed that stephen king does say alot about technology being negative somtimes I just need to find a way to use it and be effective in the paper.

Jin's Essay Dos

I plan to write my second essay based on my thesis from my first essay; that society benefits from the use of technology. In my first essay I talk about2 things that helped shape the society we now live in. Therefore I am going to elaborate more on one of them which is the medical technology. I plan to talk more about the machines that save lives, why we need it, how is it beneficial, and how can we make it better. Also I want to add some history of how the medical technology in the beginning of modern medical care. I will also compare the differences between the start till present day. Now that I talked about the past, I will also explain couple concepts of what might happen in the future with medical technology as well. I've read about 2 examples where the King stated something about medical so I might implement some of that in my new essay as well.

Essay 2

I am going to stick with the fact that I feel that technology is and has been beneficial to humanity. I am not so sure that I am going to expand upon my original essay. I am not sure I can find examples from King to support my idea. I look forward to doing more research about technology and how Stephen King relates to technology in his stories. The advances made in technology over the years has changed the way almost everything is done.
