Essay 2

I'm writing my essay over how telecommunicational technology is detrimental to humanity. I've found a few articles relating to health issues caused by prolong use of cell phones. I'm also writing about how lazy society has gotten because of cell phones and tvs. I'm incorporating "Trucks" into my essay with the idea behind the trucks getting too advanced and fighting back against society causing society to become their slaves like how we're becoming slaves to phones and tvs.

Essay 2

I am not really sure what position I would like to take for this essay. There are several reasons that could be elaborated on for both sides of the issue of whether technology is deterimental or benificial. I have currently been on the more positive side of the issue. I know that adding reasearch to this topic will aid in helping to choose a side. Technology could present it self a real problem in the near future if that is all that there is to rely on. The saying dont put all your eggs in one basket didnt just fall out of the sky. Someone had to have experienced putting their all into an area that ultimatley failed them.On the other hand technology has done wondeful things to enhance our society.

Essay 2

On my second essay I am definitely going to add an example from the short story I just finished reading that is entitled "Jaunt". Even though this story ended in a ver sad way there were a lot of things that society benefitted from the teleportation device.
I think the main reasons technology is detrimental to society have to do with pollution, as well as other health risks so I will find an argument to oppose these points. I recall some one also saying that new technology has made people lazy and has contributed to a nation-wide weight problem. Although I am leaning more toward technology being beneficial to society I am going to out examples from Stephen Kings stories on why technology is detrimental. "Trucks", Cell, "Night Surf", and "The Mangler give perfect examples on how technology can be detrimental.
All of these things will be added to my first essay. Some of these things will ofer me a chance to further demonstrate how technology is beneficial to society.

Essay 2

For essay 2, I am planning on expanding my thoughts on how transportation is beneficial to America. I would like to further detail on the history of transportation and its benefits for the every day person. I may even focus my topic on a more narrow subject, but I have not decided yet. If I do, I would probably write about airplanes. I am excited to be incorporating research into my essay and hope it turns out good!

Essay 2

For my second essay, I will expand my research and ideas from the first. I want to incorporate more examples from the King short stories into my paper, and I may want to add more examples from my own life as well. It will be much easier for me to just add more research and examples to the first essay rather than starting another paper all over again from scratch. I have to try to focus on making sure it all flows and makes sense to my readers. I also have to make sure that I don't write over the length limit too much, because then it may seem like I'm rambling. I'm looking forward to writing about the opposing views in this essay also, because I feel that there are a lot of negative effects of technology as well. I want to elaborate more on why technology is beneficial overall because of what it has done in the health care field, and I want to add examples from the short stories to prove this. I am pretty confident about this essay.

Essay 2

My ideas for our Essay number, I want to base more on Emergency Management and technology we use in and emergency and disaster more on commuications. I have mentioned it a lot in my first essay but I want to clarify it more and a better understanding and expand for others to read and get what we really to for our county .

Essay 2 Ideas

In my next essay, I'm going elaborate more on my first essay and elaborate more on my ideas I discussed in the first. I am going to show how being without technology can harm us and why it is so beneficial towards us more than detremental although it can be harmful to our society. I want to elaborate more on medicine and tests that doctors can run now, and how technology is saving more lives. I am also going to go back on some Stephen King stories I have read and put more examples into my essay from those. I'm hoping to learn a little bit more once I research a lot of this technology.
