Essay 2

I am going to keep my first essay and add to what I've come up with. I think that people will find it useful, thinking how technology effects the planet is something we forget about. I know that is one topic that hasn't been well thought out as we do all the technology up grades. I would like to go into more detail about the landfills, ozone layer and food supply. I think we get busy thinking of all the convenience things, and we forget to look at longevity effects. I am very surprise that no in my class has mention this side of technology. Reading over the other posting I just feel like we are being selfish and wanting more, but when is it playing god? That's one of the question I even have trouble answering when it comes to technology. I look forward to add more to my essay and maybe enlightening anyone who reads my essay.

Essay 2 Ideas

I'll stick with writing about the advantages of technology. More specifically, I will focus on technology in the workplace and for the jobseeker, employee, and employer. I feel that this is the area in which I have the most understanding, and because of that I think I have a better shot at my paper being thorough and easy for readers in general to follow.

I think that I have some great point in my first essay so I will keep expanding on them. I think technology is benefical to humanity because of the creation of the internet. It makes things so much easier sometimes. That is if you are able to navigate properly. The three topics that I chose are e-mail, research and shopping. As a matter of a fact, I will actually be using the internet to research these topics. I'm sure that I will be able to find enough information to get my points across.

Essay 2 Ideas

For my second essay, I was thinking on expanding my first essay.  I'm more than positive that I'll find some statistical bits about how many casualties have been prevented on the front line or something like that.  Then again, I did have second guesses about it because I could pop something out about transportation, communication, or medical technology.  But I think that if I started on one subject, I can't just all of a sudden go back to square one and blindly start over.  Back in high school, it always used to be that way, but now that I have a solid basis to go by, it should not take that long or be that hard to do a proper essay.  Aside from that, the new research method will make the research aspect of the essay much easier than what I was used to.  In my essay, I'll stick to my original assertions, adding further data and possibly another assertion or two, and end it on a not so tragic note.  Now, the one thing that I'm somewhat concerned about is adding irrelevant or excessive data.  I mean, there's quite a bit of information around for my essay subject, but it might be hard to hold back to three or four pages.

I want to base essay two off of my recent paper on technology and just add insight from kings experiences and information that I obatin from my research on technology and its benifits to humanity. I also want to incorporate my own personal expericences into this paper and give as much detail as possible. I plan to state my position on the oppsoing view as strongly as possible and maybe even persuade the reader to agree with me on why i believe that technology is benefical to humanity.i want to expand my essay in a positive way and be able to express myself without adding any unescessary information or ramble on about things just to add length to my paper. i also pretty excite about using the whole new research tutorial guide which i think is going to make life much easier for me. with that being said i think im on the right path to a excellent research paper.

Essay #2 Ideas

Although I enjoyed talking about gene manipulation in my first essay, I think I may go a differnet direction with my second. Military tech seems like it may be a good subject. It would be an easy subject to write on, I have first hand experience on how it can save and take lives. I would choose to write about how it has greatly benefited humanity. I have a feeling that I'll probably be the only one to write a pro military tech paper. Seems most people are opossed to it, I should get some interesting feedback. The other idea I have been kicking around is americas dependence on fossil fuel technology. The recent oil problems have made an abundance of sources for information. When I lived in Georgia, there was no gasiline delivered to the city for 3 days. Gas prices hit 6 dollars a gallon at some places and the prices did not drop for weeks afterwards. The third option for me was to write about the addictive nature and entertainment value of them. I have seen and read alot of stories that talk about both and it seems that it is a real issue. At this point I do not really know which I will pick.
